On Thursday March 8th, CycleStirling will host an evening to showcase much of what has been achieved since that inaugural gathering last January.

From Pavement Art to Big Bike Fun Days, from Glen Road improvements to cargo bikes and cycle rides, we will be reflecting on, and celebrating, the many activities arranged by Keep Scotland Beautiful (KSB)/Going Carbon Neutral Stirling and other groups and individuals in the Stirling community.

KSB successfully secured one year of funding for GCNS to carry out their CycleStirling activities. However, this will come to an end in March 2012. An opportunity will be given on March 8th to ascertain whether the CycleStirling community wishes to build on the successful work started this year or, possibly, to switch the strategy in a brand new direction.

Do you have ideas for cycling in Stirling? Are you taking part in cycling activities in your area? Do you want to be part of a cycle friendly community? Can you contribute to the future of Stirling's cycle family? This event will create space and provide a platform to help decide a positive direction for any future CycleStirling activity.

The evening will run from 6pm (for a 6.30pm start) to about 10pm in the Albert Hall and will include a buffet. There is no cost to attend - we only ask for your thoughts and help in forging the future of CycleStirling (see web link below).
