I knew saying 'most nights suit me' was a hostage to fortune! I can't now make it on the 31st or 1st but, hopefully, ok from Friday on...

Of course, it doesn't have to be an evening run, but possibly the weekends are fully booked for most people?

Hi,

Wednesdays would normally be good for me but I'm trying to finish our nursery before the cot arrives! So this week isn't good for me. Next week shouldn't be a problem.

Don't worry Steve, I have a hybrib, but it's me that's slow!

Hello Steve,

 

I think this group is for anyone who wants to arrange a one off social cycle ride as well as anyone who wants to start a regular weekly cycle. 

 

Going Carbon Neutral Stirling set this group up to allow the discussion, they are not organising any cycles through it.  Though they have organised several other "guided" cycles, the next of which is 2nd October.

 

I would be up for a social cycle, anywhere between 7 and 25 miles is good for me.  I will try not to miss the next one :-) 

 

Is Wednesday 31st good for anyone?

Hi Iain,

Good question! Sadly, there has been no response or posts from the originator, since he started this group. We have managed one run so far and I guess the only way there will be further rides is for us to decide on a day and time amongst ourselves. Most evenings suit me (and my heavy, slow mountain bike!) over the next week or so - how about anyone else?

I would be interested on joing in on one of your cycles :)  I know a few nice routes to go on and would be good to know other peoples routes too!

Last night’s debut run turned out to be a pleasant 15 mile jaunt through Bridge of Allan and round the Carse. Two of us (Grame and I) set out from Kings Park but we were three at the finish, having been joined on the way by Laura from Minnesota, a visitor to Stirling. Nice route, Graeme, and hopefully there will be a few more participants on the next one.

That's at least three of us, not sure the weather forecast for tomorrow is that great but we can aim for 17:30 at the gates at the corner of Kings Park on the 5th.
